May 4, 2019

One of the easier party recipes and great for sharing.

Can be prepared in 1 day in advance.

You'll need:

1 pie dish

Foil for lining (optional)

1 Tbsp Oil to prevent sticking

1 loaf baguette bread, cut into 1" cubes

6-8 ounces softened cream cheese

2/3 Cup Shredded or Shaved Parmesan, Romano or Asiago Cheese (Divided, saving 1/3 cup for topping)

1/2 Cup Ricotta Cheese

Splash of milk for creaminess

Fresh chopped Sweet Basil or Italian Parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Mix cheeses, herbs and salt and pepper. Add small amounts of milk, 1 Tspb at a time until creamy and spreadable.

If using foil, line pan and oil bottom and the edges.

Layer bread cubes in a single layer and cover with 1/3 of cheese mixture.

Repeat. After the last bread cubes are layered on top, cover with last of the mixture and sprinkle 1/3 Cup cheese on top.

Cover lightly with foil and bake @ 350 degrees 15-20 minutes until melted.

Remove foil the last 5 minutes for a crispy topping.

Here's a few additions:

Pepperoni slices

Chopped Spinach

Fresh tomatoes
